How to use Edit metadata
- Choose or drag in your PDF. Its current details fill the boxes.
- Change the title, author, subject or keywords.
- Press Save metadata and download the PDF.
The right title in search results and readers
The document title in a PDF's properties is what browsers show in the tab and what search engines often show as the headline. Fix titles like “Microsoft Word - Document1”, set the right author for your company, and add keywords so the file is easier to find on your computer or website.
Private by design
Edit metadata runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to a server, there's no sign-up, and the result is ready to download as soon as it's done.
