Know your PDF before you send it
Check whether a file is A4 or Letter, which fonts it uses, whether it contains selectable text or just scans, if it has a password or restrictions, and what the hidden properties say about who made it. Print shops, publishers and portals often ask for exactly these details.
Private by design
PDF info runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to a server, there's no sign-up, and the result is ready to download as soon as it's done.
Questions
Can it tell if a PDF is a scan?
Yes. If the first pages have no selectable text, it says the file is probably a scan.
Why are some fonts listed with odd names?
Fonts are listed as they're stored in the file. Subset prefixes are removed.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Everything is read on your device.
